Dr. Butler is the Medical Director of EmblemHealth Health@Work (formerly the Occupational and Environmental Health Center of Eastern New York). She is responsible for the daily operation of this occupational health clinic, one of the occupational health network clinics in New York State.
Dr. Karl Auerbach
Dr. Auerbach is a Staff Physician at EmblemHealth Health@Work. His primary activity is seeing patients, including complex workers’ compensation cases, surveillance evaluations, disability and fitness-to-work evaluations, World Trade Center cases, and veterans examinations, among a wide variety of occupational medical evaluations. Dr. Auerbach is a board certified occupational physician. He initially trained as an engineer and moved into medicine after a stint as a meteorologist in the U.S. Air Force. He attended the University of Rochester where he got his MD and MPH. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine and Occupational Medicine. Since then, Dr. Auerbach has practiced clinical occupational medicine for over 45 years in Rochester, NY, Philadelphia, PA, and now in Albany, NY. He enjoys skiing and sailing and spending time with his daughter.
Steven Bratman, MD, MPH
Dr. Bratman is a board certified occupational medicine physician. He graduated from the University of California at Davis and completed his occupational medicine residency at the University of Pennsylvania. He has practiced occupational medicine for almost 20 years in Colorado and California, and has recently moved to Albany. He is the author of numerous books on evidence-based medicine, and invented the term “orthorexia nervosa.” Dr. Bratman’s interests include hiking and photography. He is currently completing a popular science book on the subject of the origin of life. Dr. Bratman is board certified in Occupational Medicine, General Preventive Medicine, and Public Health by the American Board of Preventive Medicine. He is a certified Medical Examiner through the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners.
Collina D. Cooke
Collina D. Cooke is the Social Worker – Case Manager at EmblemHealth Health@Work. In her role, she provides counseling services, case management, crisis intervention services, and support to patients experiencing work-related illness or injury. In 2014, Collina graduated with her B.S. (magna cum laude) from the University at Albany (SUNY) and went on to receive her Master of Social Work from the University at Albany (SUNY) in 2015. Shortly after graduating, she became a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in New York State. Prior to joining the Health@Work team, Collina has worked with underrepresented college students, homeless families, and individuals with substance use and mental health disorders. Collina was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and has lived in the Albany area for over 10 years. She is passionate about exploring holistic ways to decrease the physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional impacts of stress and anxiety. In addition to her work at Health@Work, Collina has dedicated her time to conducting qualitative research surrounding health disparities among Black Women. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, crafting, and spending time with loved ones.
Lindsey Brenenstuhl is the Registered Occupational Health Nurse at EmblemHealth Health@Work. Her role focuses on the promotion and restoration of health, prevention of illness and injury, and protection from work-related and environmental hazards for the employees. Lindsey has almost a decade of experience in the medical field. She received her ADN in 2018 and her BSN in 2021. Before becoming a Registered Nurse, Lindsey practiced at the clinic as a Licensed Practical Nurse and put in many years of work at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital in various roles. She grew up in the city of Saratoga Springs and has lived there her whole life. During Lindsey’s free time, she enjoys traveling the world, spending time with her friends and family (human and furry friends, alike), as well as continuing her education. Lindsey is currently working towards her master’s degree to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Stacy Kaminski is the Office Manager at EmblemHealth Health@Work. She handles the clinic’s daily operations, including, but not limited to, coordination of scheduling and administrative tasks, finances, and grant administration. Stacy is a graduate of SUNY Albany where she played for the tennis team, having played the sport since she was a young girl. Since graduation, Stacy has had years of experience in the administrative medical field, having worked in both private practice and hospital settings. During her free time, she enjoys restoring furniture, gaming, hiking, and kayaking.
Jimmika Jones is a Medical Receptionist at EmblemHealth Health@Work. Her role is to manage check-ins and assist patients and visitors of the medical office. She maintains the organization of a medical office and ensures the medical environment is welcoming, calm, and quiet for patients. She also provides compassionate service to patients while calmly managing patient communications, scanning, scheduling, filing, and customer service. Jimmika has a certificate in medical billing and coding. She has worked in the medical administrative field for over 10 years at medical offices as well as insurance companies. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her children, family, and friends, and loves cooking and traveling.
Jeanvive Washington is a Medical Receptionist at EmblemHealth Health @Work. Her role is to manage checking out patients. She also maintains the organization of a medical office and ensures the medical environment is welcoming, calm, and quiet for patients. Jeanvive provides compassionate service to patients while calmly managing patient communications, scheduling, scanning, filing, and customer service. Jeanvive graduated in 2006 from Albany High School, and in 2017 she enrolled in Hudson Valley where she took classes. Jeanvive has worked in the medical field for over 10 years in an administrative role, and assists the elderly with their day-to-day duties. She enjoys spending time with her children, and loves going out to eat and traveling.
Sakina Boyd is the Administrative Assistant for EmblemHealth Health@Work. She performs administrative/clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing. Sakina manages patient- and examinee-related medical reports, including proofreading and distribution. She supports the department in assigned, project-based work. Sakina is a graduate of Albany High School and has her Associate degree in Medical Assistance and Criminal Justice. She has years of experience in the administrative medical field, having worked in both private practice and hospital settings, and was a long-term Administrative Assistant for New York State.
