Dr. Karl Auerbach Receives American College of Occupational Medicine’s 2021 Meritorious Service Award

Dr. Karl Auerbach, MS, MBA, FACOEM, EmblemHealth Health@Work — formerly the Occupational and Environmental Health Center of Eastern New York (OEHC) — has been awarded the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM) 2021 Meritorious Service Award for his long-term dedication to ACOEM as president, House Speaker and member of the Board of Directors. This award is presented to an ACOEM member for exemplary achievements in occupational and environmental medicine.

Dr. Auerbach, a member of ACOEM for more than 43 years, has served on several committees including Bylaws, Maintenance of Certification, Strategic Planning, and Council on Government Affairs. He represented ACOEM as an alternate delegate to the AMA House of Delegates and is also in private practice of OEM in Albany, New York.
